Do you enjoy solving complex customer challenges, reducing technical debt and shaping the way an organisation delivers IT services?
This is an opportunity to build a technology standards function from the ground up and have a genuine impact on the business, a scaling tech / private equity group that acquires, connects and grows exceptional regional IT MSPs into a single high-performing platform, giving every client access to enterprise-grade IT, security and AI capability and every business owner the resources to achieve more than they could alone.
Around 60% of client environments currently operate on non-standard technology stacks, creating unnecessary support overhead and inconsistent customer experiences. As a Technology Alignment Manager you'll take ownership of defining the future state, establishing a single, scalable technology standard that will underpin existing clients, future acquisitions and long term growth.
Collaborating with senior leadership, Service Delivery and Operations, you'll audit client environments, identify the root causes behind recurring support issues and design a standardised technology stack that improves reliability, reduces support tickets and creates a more efficient service model. From there, you'll lead the rollout, building client technology roadmaps, driving automation and ensuring every customer benefits from a modern, secure and well-governed environment.
Beyond implementation, you'll become the custodian of the technology standard, maintaining alignment as client needs evolve, supporting newly acquired businesses through technology integration and measuring the operational improvements delivered through standardisation. You'll also collaborate with commercial teams to help articulate the value of the standard build to prospective and existing clients.
Location:
You can work from home most of the time, with some travel to client sites across the UK.
About you:
- You have experience in a similar Technical Consultancy, Solutions Architecture, IT Service Delivery or Technical Account Management role within an MSP or managed services environment
- You have a strong understanding of Microsoft infrastructure, cloud platforms and modern workplace technologies
- You have experience of standardising technology environments and driving operational improvements
- You're comfortable conducting technical audits, creating technology roadmaps and identifying automation opportunities
- You have advanced stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences
- You have strong commercial awareness, with the ability to balance technical excellence, client outcomes and operational efficiency
- You have an analytical mindset with experience using service data and trends to drive continuous improvement
