Senior Service Delivery Manager

Position Description

Due to the secure nature of this programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to undergo the clearance process. This is a hybrid position.

Your future duties and responsibilities
You'll oversee the successful delivery of multiple IT service contracts, ensuring excellent client outcomes, strong operational performance, and continual improvement. Working closely with clients and internal teams, you'll help shape service strategy, strengthen relationships, and identify opportunities to add value.

• Lead complex IT service delivery.
• Build trusted client relationships.
• Drive service improvement initiatives.
• Manage SLAs, governance, and reporting.
• Oversee budgets and commercial performance.
• Support service transitions and change.
• Identify opportunities for contract growth.
• Coach and develop team members.
• Manage service risks and dependencies.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
You'll bring proven experience leading IT service delivery within complex environments, alongside excellent communication, commercial awareness, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience managing complex IT or managed services.
• Strong client and senior stakeholder management skills.
• Experience delivering service improvement programmes.
• Financial and commercial management experience.
• Knowledge of ITIL service management and governance.
• Experience supporting cloud, applications, and technology services.
• ITIL V4 Foundation (Service Management certification is desirable).
• Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
