Azure Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer

Position Description
At CGI, you'll help shape secure, resilient cloud and infrastructure services that enable critical organisations to perform at their best. As an Azure Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer, you'll take ownership of modernising and optimising hybrid technology environments, using automation and cloud-native approaches to deliver measurable improvements in security, performance and reliability. You'll have the freedom to bring new ideas to complex challenges, working alongside an experienced and collaborative community that supports you in making an impact. From strengthening Azure environments to advancing infrastructure-as-code and DevOps practices, this is an opportunity to influence how services evolve while developing your expertise across modern cloud and infrastructure technologies.
CGI was recognised in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work List 2025 and has been named a UK 'Best Employer' by the Financial Times. We offer a competitive salary, excellent pension, private healthcare, plus a share scheme (3.5% + 3.5% matching) which makes you a CGI Partner not just an employee. We are committed to inclusivity, building a genuinely diverse community of tech talent and inspiring everyone to pursue careers in our sector, including our Armed Forces, and are proud to hold a Gold Award in recognition of our support of the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant. Join us and you'll be part of an open, friendly community of experts. We'll train and support you in taking your career wherever you want it to go.
Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. There will be some limited occasional travel to Mansfield, but the role will be primarily performed remotely.

You'll collaborate with technical colleagues to strengthen hybrid infrastructure and champion cloud-native technologies, automation, DevOps and agile ways of working. Supported by CGI's wider community of experts, you'll have the opportunity to challenge established approaches, automate repetitive processes and deliver continuous improvements that benefit both users and the wider organisation.
